Maggie Hassan is a junior SAEM (Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management) major at Point Park University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She has a focus in entertainment and arts event management and is going for her bachelor’s degree. She loves coming up with ideas for events and working others to accomplish them. Maggie is very energetic, loves to talk to people, and is very good at making connections with others. She is also the event coordinator of her school’s SAEM (Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management) club. Maggie helps create events for the club, makes sure deadlines are met, and that the club sticks to event budget. As part of gaining experience in the event management industry she is currently doing part time work at Acrisure Stadium both as 50/50 raffle ticket seller for the Pittsburgh Steelers and working with Guest Services team during the Luke Combs concert in April 2022, the Taylor Swift concert in June 2022, and the Ed Sheeran concert of July 2022. From these positions Maggie has learned about ticket sales, spectator interaction, assisting fans with directions, crowd interactions, assisting fans during non-sports events, and what events at sports facility are like. Maggie is a planner, and she likes to create events that are memorable to all who come.
